Casa dei Pittori is a late 9th century palace located at the intersection of two of the most lively canals in the Santa Croce Sestriere (quarter). The building consists of seven beautiful apartments, arranged to offer guests every comfort imaginable in absolute quiet and tranquility.
The location is unbeatable both in terms of accessibility, easily reachable from the main Venice Santa Lucia train station and the Piazzale Roma bus station, and atmosphere with the authentic Venetian life in the surrounding area.
Every apartment is rated first class and can accommodate both short and medium-long stays. The name “Casa dei Pittori” is attributed to the building’s vicinity to the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and the Scuola di San Giovanni Evangelista (two reknowned artistic landmarks) as well as to the Stefanelli family’s passion for art and 9th century paintings in particular. (The family owns and manages the palace personally) Every apartment wall is adorned with original paintings and prints.
